Tonsilotren® - is clinically effective in acute and chronic tonsillitis.

Tonsilotren® - convinces with proven tolerability and virtually no side-effects.

In all clinical studies conducted so far, Tonsilotren® showed to be a well-tolerated, safe and gentle natural medicine. Reported side-effects have always been rare and usually mild, if not negligible.

The excellent tolerability of Tonsilotren® - particularly in the treatment of children - has been demonstrated in a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study including 158 children aged 6 – 10 years with acute viral tonsillitis. Almost 100 % of patients as well as physicians rated the tolerability of Tonsilotren® as “very good” or “good”. Similar results were achieved in many other studies.

The positive risk-benefit profile of Tonsilotren® is further substantiated by the post-marketing experience for many decades in various countries.

Tonsilotren® - is clinically effective in acute and chronic tonsillitis.

The effectiveness of Tonsilotren® in the treatment of acute tonsillitis has been demonstrated in clinical studies. Compared to symptomatic treatment (e.g. throat compresses, gargling) and compared to Placebo Tonsilotren® demonstrated in both trials a much higher clinical effectiveness in the treatment of children (6–10 years) with acute, non-streptococcal tonsillitis.

Additionally, Tonsilotren® also showed to be beneficial in the treatment of patients suffering from chronic tonsillitis. In a multinational, multicentre study including 605 patients, 78.7% of patients expressed to feel “free of complaints” after being treated with Tonsilotren® for 8 weeks. Another recent study could demonstrate a remarkable decrease in the prevalence of fatigue: while 63 % of patients suffered from a general loss of energy at the beginning of the study, at the end of the study (i.e. after 3 treatment cycles á 60 days) it was only 7.2% of patients. Fatigue is a common and widespread symptom in patients with chronic disorders and can have a notable impact on everyday performance and quality of life.
